ICT POLICY CONFERENCE!

The World Telecommunications and Information Society Day – ICT Policy Conference will be held in Kingston, Jamaica, May 17-18, 2011. The Conference will bring together policy makers, regulators, academics and practitioners in the field of Information and Communications Technology to discuss ICT related issues and strategies. It will also highlight important research work being done at the Mona School of Business, through the Telecommunications Policy and Management Programme. In light of international and national reports about the state of the ICT sector and the importance of ICTs in driving business and economic growth, it is expected that the conference will provide practical, innovative recommendations and best practices for ICT policy making and regulation in the Caribbean.
